Corn Chowder

  • 1 medium onion, minced
  • 1 stalk celery, minced
  • 4 tbls. butter
  • 1 – 2 c. diced ham
  • 2 cans whole kernel corn
  • 2 cans cream style corn
  • 2 c. milk
  • salt/pepper
  • cornstarch
Saute’ onion and celery in butter until tender. Add ham. Pull to one side and add 3 tbls. flour. Stir all together. Add corn. Add milk, salt and pepper. Thicken with cornstarch and water to desired thickness.
