- 3 lbs. ground chuck
- 2 lbs. onions (approx. 5)
- 1 1/2 stalks celery, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 60-80 oz. dark red kidney beans
- 1 qt. tomato juice
- 1 large can crushed tomatoes
- 3 - 5 tbls. chili powder
| Cook ground chuck, onion, celery, and garlic together. Drain. Add all and simmer for at least 1 hour. |
