Salad- Iceberg lettuce
- Romaine lettuce
- Gr. Onions, chopped
- parmesan cheese, freshly grated
- Romano cheese, freshly grated
- mozzarella cheese, freshly grated
- provolone cheese, freshly grated
- croutons
- bacon, cooked and crumbled
- red bell pepper slices
Dressing- 6 anchovies or 2 tsp. anchovy paste
- 1 c. white wine vinegar
- 3/4 tsp. dried oregano
- 1 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 tbls. salt
- 2 tbls. sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1/4 c. cornstarch
- 2 c. vegetable oil
Croutons- 6 English muffins
- 1/2 bottled oil and vinegar dressing
- 1/4 c. grated parmesan dressing
| Dressing: Mix all in blender or processor except oil. Add oil in a slow drizzle until well blended.
Croutons: Brush English muffins with dressing. Cut 1 1/2" cubes. Sprinkle with parmesan. Bake at 350, stirring every 5 minutes for 30 minutes, or until lightly brown.
