| Heat oven to 325. Peel and slice apples. Cook apples, cinnamon, and sugar in sauce pan over medium heat until apples are slightly tender. Cool completely. Toss with flour and butter. Unroll one prepared pie crust onto a cookie sheet. Pile apple mixture into the center of the pie crust. Fold the edges over the filling, making pleats as you work around the tart. Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with a few tablespoons of sugar. Bake 20 minutes. |
