White Queso

Ingredients

Instructions

  • 1 1/4 cup 1/2 and 1/2
  • 3/4 lb white American Cheese, chopped
  • 4 oz/1/2 lb Fontina cheese
  • 1 tbls canned jalepeno peppers, finely chopped, or to taste
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes, or to taste
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
Heat the 1/2 and 1/2 to simmer.

Whisk in the American Cheese in batches. Then the Fontina. Stir constantly.

Add rest of the ingredients.

Start with the amount listed of jalepenos and red pepper flakes. Taste before adding more.

Keep warm.

Can add 1 tsp. chili powder and/or cumin to taste.
